6 and 12 hour foot rogaine events

Team Size: Teams of 2 to 5
Categories: Mixed, Male and Female Teams
Age Classes: U23, Open, Veteran (all 40+), Super Veteran (all 55+)
plus Family and Novice categories
Cost: $50 Regular, $40 Student Concession, $10 U14s (includes waterproof map, Saturday dinner, camping and Sunday breakfast)
Organising team: QRA volunteers

Volunteer Roles

This event is run entirely by volunteers, and entries will not open until the organiser is satisfied that we have enough helpers. As a general rule, if you’ve done more than five events without giving up the chance to compete and volunteering, it’s time to put up your hand. Or perhaps you have some family members who can help out, while you compete? This table shows the roles we need help with and the kind volunteers who have already put up their hands. If you can help out, or have family members who can, please email volunteer@qldrogaine.asn.au. You could earn a Volunteer Reward, and some roles will still allow you to compete in the event.

The Queensland Rogaine Association invites you to our 6 and 12hr foot rogaines to be held on Saturday 27 June 2020.

Our 6hr event is great for families and beginner rogainers, getting back to the Hash House before dark to enjoy dinner by the campfire.

Our 12hr event is always popular, since it lets you prove your skills in both day and night and also allows you to get a hearty meal at the end and a well-deserved sleep!

Make sure to plan to stay over the night and enjoy the Hash House food, campfire and camping opportunities. Dinner and breakfast are included in your entry fees, and  also go out on the course the next morning to collect controls and check out parts of the course you might have missed.
