Volunteering
This event is run entirely by volunteers. As a general rule, if you’ve done more than five events without giving up the chance to compete and volunteering, it’s time to put up your hand. Or perhaps you have some family members who can help out, while you compete? This table shows the roles we need help with and the kind volunteers who have already put up their hands. If you can help out, or have family members who can, please email the event organiser. If you are able to assist us with this event please contact the event organiser by email. You could earn a Volunteer Reward.

About
Join us for the final foot event on the North Queensland rogaining calendar for 2024.
This rogaine covers private property which has never been used for a rogaine. It backs onto Formartine Forest Reserve and has a diverse range of ecosystems and vegetation. Try running through the eucalypt woodlands or enjoy the riparian vegetation along the riverbank. The Hash House will be near the Clohesy River so you can enjoy a refreshing dip at the end of the day or even while you are on the course. There is plenty of parking, accessible to all vehicle types and for those who want to avoid the early start, camping is available in the cow paddock – although be assured the regular residents of the paddock will be relocated for the weekend.
As always in rogaining, you can be as competitive or as casual as you like. You decide how long you wish to stay out or return to the Hash for a hearty feed and a rest. Families and Novices are always welcome (this is a great course for novices and beginners)
