SEQ Bulletin – August 2021

Tamborine Mountain Metrogaine

Return of Community Sport
After a snap lockdown three weeks ago, we are extremely fortunate to have an easing of restrictions in SEQ including the return of community sport. This means that the upcoming MOJO Raid and Tamborine Mountain Metrogaine will be able to go ahead, and we look forward to the return of Night Nav and Dawn Nav over the next couple of weeks!

Cataract River 15/24hr Rogaine – New date 6-7 Nov
A new date has been set for the annual 15/24hr rogaine – 6-7 Nov. We are monitoring the NSW Covid situation closely, and are hoping it will improve significantly over the next month so that this ‘cross-border’ event will be able to go ahead.

The Raid 100 – 1-7 May 2022
The Raid 100 is set to make its return from 1-7 May, 2022. The worlds only expedition length, rogaine format adventure race will visit the Clarence Valley region of northern NSW with a race tagline of the “Northern Rivers Edition”. With a plethora of white water rivers, varied country side from farmland and swamps to diverse national parks boasting granite outcrops along with the longest stretch of uninterrupted coastline in the state, this course is the perfect playground for adventure racing. Race HQ is located at Grafton and we can now announce the start line as the idyllic coastal town of Yamba.
Entries open on 6 Sept, but get in quick as this event sells out fast!
