Paddlegaine Results

Results from the Noosa Paddlegaine have now been published on the QRA website. Take a look at the Organisers Report for some interesting background and post-race analysis! Congratulations to all participants and a big thank you to all the volunteers for a great day out.

Call for Volunteers

QRA is completely run by volunteers, and our events are only possible with the support of rogainers and adventure racers such as you. A number of our upcoming events need your help – please contact volunteer@qldrogaine.asn.au if you can offer assistance.

  • 8hr Rogaine 22 May – at risk of being cancelled – event organiser is needed! Even if you have not been an event organiser before, this is a great event to take on and full mentoring and support from the QRA committee will be provided.
  • Wildfire and Rogue Raid – volunteers for on the day and for control collection are needed.

Training Day & Mini Rogaine – 27 & 28 March

The training day is perfect for those who are new to rogaining, or would like some helpful tips from the experts. The program consist of both theory and hands on exercises, covering Navigation, Course Planning, Nutrition and lots more. Get your entry in at the QRA website.

The Bunyaville 3hr mini rogaine is always popular and entries are nearly full. Get your team entered on the QRA website before you miss out!

Wildfire Raid – 17 April

Entries are open on the Raid Adventures website.

Rogue Raid – 8-9 May

This year’s event is looking like it will be the biggest Rogue Raid ever hosted with 186 competitors in the 24 hour race and 64 in the 6 hour race already, with entries still coming in.

If this photo from the event organiser’s recent course scouting trip gets you excited for adventure racing, get your entry in at the Rogue Raid website.

There has been a few important updates to the Rogue Raid race document. The updated information includes the approximate distances for each discipline, the number/size/scale of the maps, the HQ logistics layout, along with an interesting comment regarding one section of approximately 5km of hike-a-bike on the 24 hour course!
